When Triggers Don’t Trigger Anymore
How I realized I’ve changed—and why I want to help others feel that shift too
Last week, I attended a beautiful event hosted by my friend Liz where we explored how to stay grounded when we feel triggered.
When she asked us to think of something that upsets us, I couldn’t come up with anything. I even tried to think about my ex—nothing. At first, I thought I just wasn’t getting into the exercise. I had just returned from Paris and was still basking in joy. But then another woman shared that she felt the same way—and that she was proud of all the work she’d done.
That’s when it hit me. I wasn’t checked out. I was simply… grounded. Years of therapy, coaching, and inner work have shifted something deep inside. I’m more in tune with what I want, less reactive to outside noise, and more anchored in myself. And in that moment, I felt both proud of my growth and deeply grateful—because this isn’t just my personal journey anymore.
This is the work I now get to share with others.
I want more people to feel what I felt in that room: steady, clear, and aligned. Whether it’s navigating a life transition, building a business, or simply learning to trust yourself again—I believe we all deserve to feel grounded and in charge of our own story.
Of course, I’m still human. Life keeps life-ing, and the very next day, a couple of things hit me hard. But the difference now is in how I move through it. I bounce back faster. I take care of myself. I don’t spiral. And that’s everything.
So this week, my intention is to take life one step at a time. I have a few big moments coming up, and instead of rushing or powering through, I want to meet them with calm and presence—especially when it matters most.
And honestly, it was the perfect intention.
Yesterday at 11am, I got a message from my daughter’s nursery that they had to close urgently and we needed to pick the kids up immediately. Cue the scramble. I rearranged my whole day, handed her the iPad (yes, more screen time than I’d usually like), and somehow—we made it.
We even recovered her beloved bunny—which is a whole other crazy story (see photo 🐰).
That’s life. Messy, unpredictable, full of curveballs. But now, I meet those moments with more grace and less panic. That’s the real shift.
✨ Why I do this work:
I help entrepreneurs grow their businesses without burning out—so they can feel financially secure, in control, and aligned with their deeper purpose.
And I support women through some of life’s biggest transitions—offering space, clarity, and strength when it feels like everything is shifting.
🌀 On June 24 at 7pm, I’m co-hosting a free online event for women:
“At the Edge: Should I stay or should I go?”
This is for anyone who’s quietly questioning a romantic relationship—wondering whether to stay, to leave, or how to even begin finding clarity. We’ll hold space for honest reflection and guide you back to your own inner knowing.
👉 join us!
If you know someone silently struggling in their relationship, gently share this with them. Sometimes just one conversation can create a shift.
🌱 And for entrepreneurs: I’m launching free monthly support groups soon.
If you’re building something and want to grow alongside others who get it—DM me.
This is the work that lights me up. And I’m here to help more people come back to themselves, step into clarity, and move forward with confidence.
What a lovely way to start the day, reading your beautiful words.
